Cleve Jones Leadership Award
Douglas Brooks’ longtime dedication to ending the AIDS epidemic is evident in his impressive career, which includes The Presidential Advisory Council of HIV/AIDS, White House Office of National AIDS Policy, and Gilead. Throughout his career, he has focused on turning attention to populations most affected by the epidemic— notably those who are Black and LatinX, Black women, transgender men and women, and people living in the Southern U.S.
JP Morgan Chase

A leader in corporate philanthropy, JP Morgan Chase has been a longtime partner in the fight for health justice. From ongoing employee engagement and volunteering, to providing transformational grant support to expand SFAF’s TransCare programming, JP Morgan Chase’s advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community serves as an excellent example of authentic corporate partnership.

Black Benatar
Black Benatar aka Mx. Beatrice Thomas is a director, multidisciplinary social practice artist and drag queen. Thomas’ work has graced the stages of the deYoung Museum, CounterPulse, SomArts Cultural Center, Bindlestiff Studio, BRAVA Theater, and SF PRIDE. They were recently a Kennedy Center Citizen Artist Fellow, and premiered their show, Black Benatar's Black Magic Cabaret, on the stage of Kingsbury Hall in Salt Lake City.
